I have to be honest and say that Supper with Michelle has truly evolved sooo much in such a short period of time. And I have to thank all of my friends and family that have encouraged me along the way to share my love for cooking with the world.
With that being said, I bring you my first post! *Smile*
Now this sauce goes great with tortilla chips and it also compliments salads really well.
Recipe: Serves 2-4
As for the ingredients I used the following:
1 – 2 Cloves of Garlic
A handful of Cilantro (about 3 tablespoons chopped)
Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste
The juice from half of a Lime
1 small Jalapeno (seeds removed and diced)
Chop the stems off of your cilantro and give it a rough chop. Seed your jalapeno and diced it a little. Then peel the outer part of the tomatillo’s off and discarded that. Give them a good rinse and quartered them. Get your avocado ready to go(discard that big ol’ seed) and peel your garlic and give it a rough chop.
Put your tomatillo’s and garlic in first and pulse those 2 or 3 times, then put in the rest of your ingredients and give those a good spin for 30 seconds or so.
You’re looking for a smooth consistency. Now taste your sauce and see if you need any salt and/or pepper.
